Co-Design & Redesign

Think Human can tailor a range of co-design services to meet your needs, from in-house training to the full re-design of services and systems, helping you discover what needs to change to add greater value and walking alongside you as you implement the changes. We specialise in bringing the voice of lived experience into co-design processes as genuinely equitable participants.

Recent work in this space includes the co-design of the new Child and Family Support System in South Australia in partnership with DS Consulting for the Department of Human Services  and co-design training for Volunteering Tasmania and their local government partners to kick off their Safeguarding Volunteering co-design project.

Customer Experience

In our customer experience support we use a range of methodologies to help you listen to and understand your customers and what they value. We also take time to deeply understand your employee experience to then design the internal and external processes and systems that will help your staff deliver effective and positive customer experience.

Recent work in this space includes supporting a cross-council team at the City of Marion to undertake in-depth customer research and analysis. The team at Think Human then designed a set of Character Maps to help Council staff continue to apply their learning and insights. Ongoing work includes designing training modules and implementation tools to enable staff to use the Character Maps across Council.

Consultation and Facilitation

The team at Think Human bring many years of experience in facilitation and customer and public consultation and engagement, both at large and small scale. We specialise in designing inclusive and accessible consultation processes, including hybrid online and offline engagement processes. We regularly work with older populations, families at risk of vulnerability, people living with disability and multi-cultural communities, partnering with subject matter experts and those with lived experience to ensure our work is relevant and appropriate. We regularly facilitate strategic discussions and planning workshops for businesses of all sizes.

Recent work in this space includes designing and delivering a public consultation for the future of a historic South Australian Trust to support people living with disability. As a result of this work the Minister for Human Services established a working group led by people living with disability to guide the ongoing development of the Trust.

Change Management

As qualified Prosci® change managers, behaviour scientists and designers, we bring evidence-based methodologies to designing effective change processes for you and your business that will work for your people. We always start with understanding your context and the current experience of your staff and customers to ensure our work is tailored to your needs.

Recent work in supporting change includes working with client-facing and back-of-house staff at Cara Disability Services to design new processes for rostering and scheduling of care staff, as well as working with staff at Flinders University to understand and refine the user experience of a new software roll-out.

Strategic Planning

Strategic Planning

We specialise in co-designing strategy, drawing on a breadth of stakeholder voices to ensure strategy is grounded in the actual experience and needs of people rather than created in the executive suite. We design interactive online and offline methods to engage multiple voices in shaping strategy, leading to greater buy-in and ownership.

Recent work includes designing and facilitating strategic planning away days for Rest Super Fund senior leaders and the current facilitation of the process to develop SA Health's Women's, Children's and Young People's Ten Year Plan.
